Dear Santana Staff,
As you know, Steve has announced that he will be retiring at the end of this school year, thus creating a vacancy at Santana.

In preparation for filling this position, a key component in learning more about Santana, in addition to review school data, our knowledge from being on campus visiting your site, talking with individual staff members, and meeting and talking with Steve, is having the opportunity to speak directly with the full staff about the qualities and characteristics you, as a staff, are seeking in the next principal.

On Wednesday, April 19, I will be at Santana to hold an optional staff meeting for all Santana staff. This meeting will be held at 3:15 p.m., at Santana, and is an opportunity to learn from you the key qualities and characteristics you are seeking as we work to fill the principal position. Again, attending this meeting is optional, as I know that schedules are busy.

I look forward to visiting Santana on Wednesday and having the opportunity to talk with all those who are available after school.
